silkShe often came across as a demanding artist. Probably because the classically-trained Pianist experienced racism very early in her life. So her Songs and interviews often stressed the topic of injustice and bigotry. Musically Nina was the female James Brown – at least regarding the influence and inspiration for other artists. In this show we play her original songs as well as Remixes and Tracks that sample her work plus some Quotes from radio interviews i found on the net. So you will here jazz tracks as well as (Northern) Soul, Funk, Hip Hop and even House – plus the reason we don’t play „My Baby just cares for me“ anymore. (Sadly the second hour has been deleted by soundcloud).

My Baby just cares for me“ spielen.
